WHAT WE LOVE:

Founded in 1853, Revue Thommen has been a manufacturer of both watches and cockpit instrumentation. In the 1940s and 1950s they produced some early 'Sport' watches like this, which were well regarded for their screw-down caseback to aid water resistance. This model now looks more formal than sporty, with its lovely bullseye dial.
